The HP IPAQ travelmate RX5710 is one of the latest versions of the company and has been considered to be one of the best. The navigator consists of Samsung(r) SC32442 processor type along with 400 MHz processor speed. The display size is 3.5” and QVGA TFT display type. The SiRFstarIII GSC3F GPS receiver has been added to this system and on top of this the software includes exclusive package from HP.

Bluetooth 2.0 is being used as the wireless connection technology and a mini-USB desktop harmonization cable is used as a synchronization tool. To complement these there are speakers, microphones, one head-phone jack of 3.5 mm and MP3 stereo over the audio jack. It includes various other features of multimedia such as media player 10, solitaire, videos and pictures, jawbreaker and HP Photosmart software.

However, the system requires almost 100- 240 V of AC current, at the same time it must be regulated at 90%RH and temperature range of 0 to 40 C for operating. The product would have a warranty of standard statements. It would get 90 days support regarding any technical difficulties at any region along with one year parts warranty. If there were any other offers they would vary from location to location.

Like this model there would be various others in the near future and each of them would be better than their previous ones. This is the only way the companies can keep up their goodwill at the market. Companies like Pioneer, who have a strong hold on this particular field would always give a competition to all those, who would set foot on this ground. This travelmate GPS navigator would hopefully stay out long in the market to fight out the other navigators in the same league as that of the AVIC series, which show serious promise. It is expected of companies like HP to issue such models at a frequent pace better than the one they have put up now. It will ensure healthy competition and improvement in the quality of the products.
