Kindle Version
The e-book reader that everybody was waiting for came into the market and even conquered it. Yes, you guessed it right we are talking about the talk of the town e-book reader; kindle from the house of Amazon. The features that it provided to its consumers were simply great, apart from being high-priced, and thus became one of the popular e-book readers surpassing even the dominant Sony e-reader.
Though there were some flaws in the system and the popularity would have short lived but the future-seeing eyes of the Amazon will not let it happen. Not even a year has passed when the first Kindle version was launched and now its parent company will be launching its second version Kindle 2.0 around October this year. Speculations are there that all the necessary changes have been made and the whole system has been well crafted and skillfully modified, keeping in mind every single demand and requirements of their customers.
The first of the Kindle version will be an updated one with an improved interface but the screen will remain the same. It has been believed that in developing the next generation of Kindle, Amazon has skipped three to four generation and in terms of technology it is going to be worth every penny you spend on it.
Apart from this, the second in line which is slated to be launched next year is designed like an 8.5*11 in scrap of paper. Moreover, the size of the same is also expected to be bigger than the existing Kindle version. On top of that, both of the above forms will also be available in different colors just to hit the younger section of the consumers.
Yet, the crux of the matter would be the price tag with which it would be launched as the current Kindle version is a bit expensive than the other e-book reader available in the market. Take example of Sony e-book reader itself, it is 100 USD cheaper than the Kindle e-book reader. However, it is believed that the prices of the new version would be comparatively less, but we need to wait and watch until the new version gets released for public use.
Furthermore, no ultimate reasons can be sited in Amazon’s decision of launching the second Kindle version so early. However, the reason that most of the experts believe is the competition with other e-book readers in this genre. Whatever the reason might be, the new Kindle version has surely become a craze even before it has been launched in the market.
