It also makes it possible to hold the camera at any level you want. You can also use a tripod and be able to see what you are recording without having to lean down into the viewing window. Some also come with stability features that help your picture to be clearer.
As with anything you may buy these days video cameras come in many different shapes and sizes. They come in large to mine sizes. Some are so big you will need to use a tripod and some are so small you can put them in your pocket if you want. There are also wide screen camcorders available today that will work best for wide screen televisions.
You will need to figure out who the camera is for and what one will to the easiest for them to use. There are camcorders designed specifically for kids and teens as well as adults. You just need to know what one will be age specific for who you are wanting the camera for. It all depends on how complex the user will be able to figure out to use. They ranged from professional to novice.
