Blue Ray Dav Player
The Term Blue ray derived from the blue violet laser which is used to read from and write into the disk. Because of its shooter wavelength (405) user can save more data than the traditional DVD player which uses 650 neno meter laser. The capacity of blue ray DVD player is 25 giga bytes, which is 5 times more than single layer DVD drive. A double layer Blue ray DVD drive can store 50 GB of storage which is almost 6 times more than dual layer DVD drive
Blue ray is similar to PDD which provide higher transfer rates and speeds, the use of PDD was only limited for business purpose achieving data and backup
Laser and optics for DVD players
Blue ray DVD player uses a blue violet laser which operates at the wave length of 405 neno meters. It is similar to hard disk DVD drive that used for storage and to read data. if we compare to traditional DVD drives and Compact drives they use red infrared lasers that run at the wave length of 650 neno meter and 780 neno meter respectively
As the technology grows, engineers are now finding the ways to increase the storage capacity of blue ray DVD players. Recently scientists have demonstrated quard layer DVD player disks which is a modify version of old DVD players, Such a disk can store 7 hours of 32megabits/second video or in other words 3.5 hours of 64 megabits/second video. Moreover scientists are now experimenting to introduce a blue ray DVD disk which will able to store 200 GB of data on single side with the help of six 33 GB data layers
